Workshop Description:

Innovation is an integral part of experiential education. Kurt Hahn, Karl Rohnke, and other early contributors to the field created new approaches to education that went against the norms and looked at things differently. Their ability to innovate pushed education further and has had a tremendous impact on youth and adults around the world. In order to continue this trajectory of innovation in our field it is valuable to understand how creativity works.

In this webinar, you’ll learn and practice the Creative Problem Solving process, a research-based strategy that has been used in organizations around the world to solve complex problems. People have used the Creative Problem Solving process to invent new programs, products, and processes that have generated millions of dollars and changed many lives. During the webinar, we will focus on a real challenge from one participant’s organization and generate dozens of new ideas. More importantly, you will learn the tools and techniques to repeat the process with your team to bring out their creativity. Move past idly waiting for inspiration to strike and learn to get creative when you need it.
