YMCA Camp Letts is a resident camp facility dedicated to serving youth, families, and other organizations for over 100 years. Located in Edgewater, Maryland on 220 waterfront acres, Camp Letts features a welcoming dining facility with a beautiful waterfront view, and a wide range of activities and amenities including water & land sports, ropes course, nature exploration, and so much more. We are seeking a dynamic individual with some camp and outdoor experience who can act as our on-site leadership and customer service representative for external groups that rent our facility during the retreat season, September – May. Weekly schedule, Wednesday – Sunday, during high season.
Basic Job functions will include; Coordinating group retreats and large events at YMCA Camp Letts; Working with groups from booking to end of stay to exceed customer experience expectations; Prepare for all aspects of group visit, including but not limited to, guest lodging, meal counts, Letts lead activity schedule; Act as on-site host, catering to retreat group needs while on site; Manage & facilitate activity areas, including, waterfront, zip line/high ropes, team development course/low ropes, archery, and various additional land activities.
