Located in the Elk Mountains of Colorado The Adaptive Sports Center of Crested Butte offers a wide variety of adaptive-based adventure programs to people with disabilities and other unique needs. Our staff facilitates instruction-focused, adventure-based programs for our participants. Activities include Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Flat Water, River Raftering, Ropes and Challenge Course, Camping, Hiking, and Backpacking. All programming is inclusive to family members and significant others. Candidates should have a solid background in teaching and facilitating skills in the above activities and a strong desire to work in a professionally minded, up-tempo, adaptive setting. A background in recreational or occupational therapy is beneficial but not required.
