The Summer Season begins in mid-May and ends in early-October. Summer adventures include a ropes course, mountain biking, adaptive biking, rock climbing, rafting, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The Summer Programming Intern will get hands-on experience both in the field and at the office.
Through a variety of clinics and training, interns have the opportunity to learn the skills required for each activity we offer to participants. While in the field, interns will eventually become co-instructors for each excursion.
Students studying Recreational Therapy, Outdoor Education, Adaptive Physical Education, or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
