The 7 W’s of Sea Kayaking is designed to be an instructional tool for programs that rent Sea Kayaks or offer Sea Kayak trips to participants.   The 7 W’s are designed to be taught in a progression and to serve as a guide for reducing accidents due to negligence of environmental and human factors.  Ideally, the 7 W’s are introduced prior to a practical hands on session that teaches rescue techniques, sea kayak anatomy, terminology and equipment.
