2017 is predicted to be a bad year for Lyme Disease. This is result of the complex life cycle of ticks that carry Lyme Disease and their hosts. An abundance of acorns in 2015 has increased the population of the White-footed Mouse in 2016 which should result in a larger population of infected ticks.
