Join other outdoor enthusiasts as part of Skyland Ranch’s Environmental Educational team. As a Program Instructor, you get to be a naturalist and a counselor. Instructors lead students and teachers through a variety of fun science-based NGSS curricula. Most students attend for the day, with extended-day and overnight options available for schools who are interested. Program Instructors are responsible for supervising of a group of children during activities with the support of teachers and chaperones. This is a small outdoor education program and our staff might assist in the promotion, instruction, preparation, and delivery of the outdoor education program on-site and off, as well as, helping in the kitchen or in other areas of need. Most shifts are 8:00-3:00 Monday-Friday, with flexible days on/off. Full-time off-site housing is available, and on-site housing is available when working back-to-back days. Staff have the option to complete American Red Cross First Aid/CPR and Riverside County Food Handler certifications as part of their training.
