Position Overview: The Instructor is the primary service provider for the organization and directly engages with participants to ensure an exceptional and mission-based experience. The role of the Instructor involves meticulous organization and timeliness along with the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of activities. The position requires highly effective risk management, expertise in adaptive based outdoor programming/instruction and the cultivation of professionally minded relationships with participants. Instructors are required to work closely with other instructors and staff, interns, parents/family members, visiting trip leaders and a volunteer team as an integral part in their role and the program’s success.
