ECO ZONE DAY CAMP
At the Eco-Zone Day Camp, campers age 8-12 participate in activities involving forest, field, and freshwater wetland ecology. Eco-Zone campers also canoe, go on a stream hike, and have the option to sleepover on a Thursday night campout. Children at both day camps go on hikes, make crafts, and swim. At both camps the day starts at 8:00 am with chores and preparation for the campers. Campers arrive at 9:00 am and stay until 3:30 pm. After the campers leave, there is a clean-up period and brief staff meeting. The workday ends at 4:30 pm. During the program, campers are divided into groups of eight to twelve with one Counselor and one Junior Counselor.
