The Waterfront Coordinator is a member of the camp coordinator team and is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the camp waterfront. The Waterfront Coordinator serves as a mentor and supervisor to Chewonki’s waterfront staff, providing support for nearly all aspects of their jobs including managing the logistics, safety, and equipment of the waterfront, as well as supporting the planning, preparation, and implementation of the activity curriculum. Specifically, the Waterfront Coordinator supports the work of lifeguards and watercraft instructors. The Waterfront Coordinator is expected to support the growth and development of all activity staff in attaining their personal best as an educator, caretaker, and employee.
