Assist Touch of Nature Assistant Director of Outdoor Education and Recreation and Recreation Professions in the School of Human Sciences with the administration of Touch of Nature’s Recreation Therapy program. This position performs duties of a diverse nature in the field of Recreation Therapy in an outdoor education/camp setting that affects revenue stream for Touch of Nature while providing a high-end educational experience for SIU students in the Recreation Professions department. This is a 75% FTE, 12-month, term (renewable) Administrative/Professional position with an independent, 25% FTE, 9-month (August 16-May 5) term (renewable) non-tenure track faculty appointment. This position must maintain a constant and positive relationship with the entire University as well as the surrounding community. This position requires a working knowledge of camps for people with disabilitites and overseeing an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited camp, including maintaining that accreditation through ACA processes
