Insight Adventures is seeking a dynamic and energetic experiential education instructor to provide unforgettable outdoor experiences for international school students. Our programs are set in some of the most picturesque locations across China. They can range from camping in the Inner Mongolian desert, climbing the Yangshuo Karsts and surfing on the beautiful beaches of Hainan Island. If you have experience working with youth on camps or in outdoor education programs we would love to talk to you!

Requirements:

• Minimum 19 years of age

• Able to communicate well in English 

• Have prior experience working with youth

• Able to work in a multi-cultural team environment 

• Be flexible and able to adapt to change 

• Have a valid first aid qualification – Can confidently administer first aid in a wilderness setting (e.g. Wilderness Advanced First Aid or equivalent)  

• Outdoor instructor qualifications is a plus

Instructor Abilities:

• Experience facilitating at camps or experiential education programs 

• Passionate about the outdoors 

• Willing to learn and grow through constructive feedback

• Responsible for leading student groups to and from activity locations

• Responsible for the well-being of participants whilst on program

• Fun outgoing personality and ability to safely manage groups in an outdoor environment
