The Chewonki Big Eddy Campground, situated near Baxter State Park on the West Branch of the Penobscot River, is seeking a Campground Site Assistant. The Site Assistant oversees Big Eddy Campground and ensures that the facility is operated in a fashion that meets all Chewonki standards for safety, quality of service, and sustainability when the Site Manager is away.  The Big Eddy Campground Site Assistant reports to the Site Manager.  The Site Assistant position is a seasonal position.  Chewonki provides a staff cabin at Big Eddy during the campground season for the Site Assistant.  The position is available April 27 – October 18, 2019.
