Lead students in 1-6 day outdoor education programs for grades 2-12. Teach natural history, human history, environmental education, team building & a variety of outdoor skills. Outdoor skills include camping, hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, and backpacking. Assist specialists in adventure activities such as rock climbing, ropes courses, sea kayaking, snorkeling and flatwater canoeing. All NAL employees are responsible for transporting themselves from site to site throughout California. Expect to travel from site to site week to week all throughout the state. We do not offer travel/gas stipends.
