FALL CAMP LEAD COUNSELOR
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated camp counselors to lead campers and help them navigate remote learning in a camp setting. Fall Camp Lead Counselors have two main responsibilities at camp. First, they are the lead staff member in each cabin. Lead Counselors will sleep in the cabin’s “counselor quarters” with up to two Assistant Counselors and will work together to create a fun, safe environment for the kids in their cabin. A typical day for a Lead Counselor will be spending mealtimes with the cabin, managing morning and bedtime routines, assisting with school schedules, and serving as a mentor and role model for their campers. The second role of a Lead Counselor is instructing camp activities. After virtual school wraps up in the afternoons and during the weekends, campers will get the chance to participate in camp activities, and Lead Counselors will instruct those activities. The Lead Counselors will report to the Camp Directors, Program Directors, Village Directors, and camper parents.
