Adventure WV employs six graduate assistants (GA) to work alongside professional staff toward AWV initiatives, including guided trips, gear rental, 5-6 day first-year trips, challenge course and team-building programs, canopy tours, international abroad trips, leadership development courses, and more. Adventure WV graduate assistants serve in a professional capacity, working with specific programmatic areas on a 12-month schedule to assist in administration, training, programming, staff management, and other logistical support. Projects and responsibilities vary seasonally and by position.
