SUMMARY

The Outdoor Leadership department of the YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a motivated, organized, and flexible Operations Supervisor who shares our commitment to the outdoors, youth development, community building, and cultural humility. The Operations Supervisors primary responsibilities are to manage the day-to-day operations of the Cascade People’s Center and to oversee logistics for Outdoor Leadership programs.

The Y at the Cascade People’s Center (CPC) serves as a hub and basecamp for the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s Outdoor Leadership programs and a resource for the Cascade community in the heart of Seattle. Find more information at: https://ycascadepeoplescenter.org/

BOLD (Boys Outdoor Leadership Development) & GOLD (Girls Outdoor Leadership Development) program is dedicated to inspiring courage and confidence in diverse groups of teens through outdoor adventures. Through partnership programs and summer wilderness expeditions diverse groups of youth explore the wild places of the Pacific Northwest and become the next generation of multicultural leaders. Climbing & Challenge strives to help individuals and teams reach their fullest potential, by providing shared adventure and challenge course experiences, followed by positive reflection. YMCA Earth Service Corps (YESC) is an innovative youth-led program that engages diverse young people in youth-centered, inclusive programming that empowers participants to take an active role in addressing environmental issues in their communities. Through ongoing opportunities to engage in real-world leadership training and exercises, Earth Service Corps creates lifelong environmental stewards and empowers youth to become leaders in their community!
