Job Description

About Trackers Earth

For over fifteen years, tens of thousands of families have Tracked experiences outdoors with our year-round Guides—in seasonal camp events, through outdoor sport, mentor and apprenticeship programs, and during after-school and school-day adventures.

Our mission is to inspire kids and families outdoors, creating stories and memories—new friendships, wonder, and possibilities—within ourselves, between each other, and with the world around us.

About the Mariner Coordinator Position

Before camp, you engage in pre-production for summer programming. You co-develop curriculum, prep materials and equipment, and work with our Human Resources Director to assemble and train an A-Team of incredible Trackers Camp Guides.

During camp, you oversee that team of Guides—up to ten educators reporting directly to you. You support them in the field, helping ensure a quality camp experience. You track and report the team’s progress to the Regional Director. You co-communicate with Guides, campers, and parents and guardians. You collaborate with families and Trackers leadership to deliver the best and highest quality experience for kids.

Beyond camp, you contribute to helpful updates in our summer practices and transition Trackers into autumn programming. You also set our Guides up for success, co-mentoring them to find future roles with Trackers and other professional opportunities.
