The Adventure Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all our off-site and adventure programs including staff, administrative, and financial management. Such programs include all school programming hosted off site and all teen Adventure programs in the summer. The Adventure Programs Manager will provide oversight and supervision to program staff through specialized offsite and adventure trainings. The Adventure Manager will also oversee all aspects of permitting, safety, licensing, equipment, and logistics associated with regional adventure programs.
In collaboration with the other program managers and Director of Education, the Adventure Programs Manager also develops new curriculum, lessons, safety, and risk management plans for all Adventure Programs. Particular attention will be focused on developing our teen program offerings including a leadership framework, itineraries, and progression. Keystone Science School is in the process of bringing our climbing program in-house and the Adventure Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all climbing within Keystone Science School programs. This could include training, risk management, permits, gear, etc.
