The Content Coordinator is responsible for the creation, design, and organization of content in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and other department areas. Projects include the KSS website, digital marketing ads, graphic design, video production, and other external communications. This position requires a high level of creativity, copy writing skills, and brand awareness. A high degree of collaboration is also required, as the Content Coordinator will work across a variety of departments in the creation and execution of all storytelling collateral.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Management and Online Marketing
- Maintain the Keystone Science School website in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager which includes website design, maintenance, and copy;
- Under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, perform activities related to SEO and SEM;
- Work in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager to execute the digital marketing strategy which includes the implementation of all Google Ad Grants, social media advertising, and other PPC and online advertising campaigns.
Graphic Design & Video Production
- Develop all flyers, postcards, brochures, and other marketing materials in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager;
- Create a variety of visually appealing documents such as program final reports and other organizational storytelling tools in partnership with all KSS departments and the Digital Marketing Manager;
- Produce short videos to support the needs of social media, website, and communication needs;
- Support all program areas to ensure that any external presentation of materials while abiding by the branding guidelines set forth by KSS.
Program Storytelling, Social Media, & Email Marketing
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager in the execution of the social media plan which includes all organic and paid social media advertising;
- Manage the execution of program storytelling with the support of Customer Experience Specialist and Media Specialists through the use of “Camp Today,” program videos, and other media to share the outcomes and impacts of KSS programs with parents and a variety of external audiences;
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager with the execution of the email marketing campaign which includes copy writing and design.
Data Management and Marketing Analysis
- Support the ongoing maintenance of all KSS marketing data which includes email lists, CRM data, and website performance;
- Assist in the analysis and measurement of all online marketing and digital advertising campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
The minimum requirements in knowledge, skills, and abilities for the candidate of our choice:Our required education, experience, and certifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in website management utilizing Joomla, WordPress, and/or other web platforms;
- Minimum 1 year experience using graphic design and video production software (preferrably Adobe Creative Cloud);
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree;
- Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check
In addition to the above required talents, our ideal candidate will have these preferred skillsets:
- Experience managing and storytelling through social media accounts in a professional setting;
- Experience managing Google AdWords and other online advertising;
- Knowledge of or experience with Google Analytics (Advanced Google Analytics Certification desired);
- Comprehension of the Spanish language via written and/or verbal form.
