Trackers Earth is a youth organization that inspires kids to navigate real challenges. We believe they can truly contribute, developing the grit and character they need to thrive! Kids learn old-school outdoor skills: wilderness survival, farm craft, wild foraging, fishing, martial arts, boating, and more. All this in immersive camps and programs filled with epic story and adventure.

Starting in 2004, Trackers Earth is an organization that endeavors to serve our community, and the natural world. We offer key program scholarships to families in need, conserved hundreds of acres of wildlands where kids connect with nature, and offered essential support to the growth of other kindred outdoor education organizations. Our mission? Give kids essential knowledge, skills, and experience they need to stand up with us to help save the world!

Job Summary

As a Lead Guide, you help supervise and inspire teams of campers during incredible outdoor adventures, showing kids why we care for and preserve the places we explore. You may embark on a wilderness survival trek, fish, kayak, rock climb, or co-create a story adventure with secret agents, wizards, or elves.

The Role

• Meet and work with kids outdoors while sharing new skills. Work with coordinators mentoring you in outdoor education.

• Experience Enthusiasm for Trackers programs. 16 years & up.
• Pay $17.25 – $23.25 per hour, pay add-ons for certifications
• Benefits Career and professional development. 25% off all Trackers Earth programs (staff only).
• Time Summer Camp, Monday – Friday, Be available to report to any worksite (Shuttles available)

Commitments

This is a temporary seasonal position. Year-round opportunities may be available based on seasonal summer performance and fall enrollment. Summer Guides must be available for all specified dates.

We are committed to being fair in how we pay. Summer rates of compensation are transparent, and fixed, so you can be assured Trackers Earth provides equal pay for equal roles and responsibilities. Compensation from a position’s base rate relies on documented licenses and work history.
