Overview and Qualifications

Overview:

• Oversee campcraft/nature program including instructional in outdoor living, hiking, orienteering, first aid, the environment, camping, animal care,
• Coordinate outdoor living experience at Tel Noar’s and Tevya’s campsites including all preparations and details,
• Supervise, guide and evaluate campcraft/nature counselors.

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years experience as head of campcraft/nature or outdoor living program at a day or residential camp,
• Outdoor living skills including campsite preparation, orienteering, hiking, outdoor survival skills, etc,
• Passion for outdoors and outdoor living experiences,
• Bachelor degree in education, outdoor education, recreation.

 Under the direction of each Camps’ Director and/or Program Director, pre-camp work and/or meetings may be required.
