Experiential Systems, Inc. (ESI) is seeking a CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/SITE FOREMAN for our growing business.
ESI serves the adventure industry by designing, installing, training, and maintaining challenge courses, aerial adventure parks, ziplines, playgrounds, water slides, and obstacle courses.

General Purpose:
A construction manager/site foreman is responsible for a variety of administrative and labor tasks. Depending on the size and scope of the job, common tasks are running morning meetings, assigning tasks to Installers and Lead Builders and ensuring work crews are adhering to OSHA as well as other job site safety requirements.
Other responsibilities include maintaining the construction schedule/timeline/budget and communicating this information to the project manager on a regular basis.
A Site Foreman can expect to spend 20% of their time directing work, managing materials, problem solving, communicating with clients, as well as other various tasks while on site. 80% of their time will be spent working alongside lead builders and installers. The majority of a site foreman’s hours will be spent on site and they will be required to travel throughout the United States for periods of 3 – 14 days at a time.
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of construction processes and strong attention to detail. Ability to clearly communicate daily goals to lead builders and installers on site. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with coworkers and clients is important. The ideal candidate will be able to make decisions efficiently while in the field with the ability to find solutions when issues arise. Fluency and the ability to use computer project management software is required.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of challenge course new installations.
Review and understand the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
Review and understand project tasks and resource requirements
Work cooperatively with other project staff
Review and understand project timelines
To work abide and comply with company health and safety policies including OSHA 10 regulations.
Monitor other employees and report unsafe practices or behaviors
Monitor and report on progress to Project Manager
Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions

Education and Experience
Qualification in construction management or related experience.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of challenge course use, inspection, and maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Direct work experience in project management capacity
