The Wilderness Play Facilitator assists groups in our on-site wilderness play program. Wilderness Play at camp involves unstructured, imaginative outdoor play for 3rd graders and up. Campers spend time exploring and creating in our camp “wilderness,” and are encouraged to use natural elements such as rocks and sticks to build a world for themselves and their peers.

Staff ride the bus to camp each day with their campers. Buses leave from North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, West Hills, Agoura, Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, and Newbury Park. If your home is within 30 minutes of any of these locations, you can easily be a part of our program this summer.

Our child-centered program focuses on personal growth for our campers, and our Leadership Team (a group of of camp and education professionals) focuses on growth for our staff. We are looking for motivated individuals who have a desire to teach, nurture, and create lasting memories. As a staff member at Kinneret, your summer will be full of singing and activities, developing relationships with campers, and ultimately, making a difference in campers’ lives. If you are looking to join a supportive and fun community, then Kinneret is the place for you!
