I just recently moved to Bend Oregon from San Diego. I graduated from UNH with a degree in Outdoor Ed 2 years ago and have been out of the business for a year. My desire is to get involved in OE again but I cannot seem to find any work ANYWHERE in Oregon. I was wondering if anyone knew about any outdoor ed or environmental ed schools or companies near Bend or Portland areas of Oregon.

Have you heard of OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry)? They run 3 science camps, one in Bend, one in Fossil, and one on the coast. Seasonal jobs (Feb-Nov) but I worked for them a few years ago and it was a great experience. I believe most of their jobs are residential, but check them out at www.omsi.edu
