Who comes to mind when you think "social justice" and outdoor/experiential/adventure education?

Colleagues, I need some help for a research project I'm conducting. Here's my question: when you think of social justice AND experiential/outdoor/adventure education, who in our field - from the halls of academia (i.e., in the way of college faculty) - comes to mind? If you feel knowledgeable enough to comment on this, and can respond to me off-list at rlfrazer@wisc.edu, I'd appreciate it! Thanks much.

I would definitely second Rick's selections, and would add Denise Mitten as well.

I would say that Karen Warren from Hampshire College would be your best bet- she has a great handle on Social Justice in the Adventure Recreation field and she was my second reader for my Thesis when I was at Prescott. She is very nice and very willing to help anyone in the field. I commend you for looking into social justice in outdoor rec as it is a huge area of concern and interest to me. Keep up the good work!
